About Me

I am a 12 year resident of Hillsdale and father of 3 children currently in the school system. My wife Cheryl, is an elementary school teacher currently working in Oradell, NJ.  Although I am not a classically trained teacher, I am an educator.  I have served as clinical faculty for both St. Joseph's Health and NY Medical College.  I currently hold the title of clinical associate faculty for the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine.  In my office, I train medical, physician assistant and nurse practitioner students, as well as shadowing undergraduates. I have also lectured at local, regional and national conferences multiple times.  My personal philosophy about education is that it is the best way to serve your community, by passing your gained knowledge down to the next generation. 

My daughter Emma is a current 7th grader at George White, and Elizabeth and Jackson currently attend Ann Blanche Smith.  With 3 children in the district, I personally have a vested interest in the every day process of our schools.  Now that I am transitioning off of the NJAOPS board of directors, I have more free time to dedicate to other ventures. I feel there is no better way to do that currently than to get involved in our children's education. Visit my position page to learn more.
